“But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be” (Mat 24:37).
Regardless of how one interprets Mat 24, there’s no doubt that Christ referred to the rebellion and judgment in Noah’s day, which He compared to mankind’s subsequent rebellion and impending judgment. It’s a sober warning for any generation to consider. Continue reading “As in the Days of Noah”

“When He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain because of the word of God and the testimony they had maintained. They called out in a loud voice, ‘How long, Sovereign Lord, holy and true, until you judge the inhabitants of the Earth and avenge our blood?’ Then each of them was given a white robe, and they were told to wait a little longer, until the number of their fellow servants and brothers who were to be killed as they had been was completed.”(Rev 6:9-11) Continue reading “The Fifth Seal in Revelation – A Period when the Saints will be Martyred”

The Bible’s answer
The Bible describes events and conditions that would mark “the conclusion of the [current] system of things,” or “the end of the world.” (Mat 24:3; King James Version) The Bible calls this time period “the last days” and the “time of the end,” or “end times.” (2Tim 3:1; Dan 8:19; Easy-to-Read Version) The following are some outstanding features of last-days, or end-times, prophecies:
In the prophetic parable of the ten virgins, we notice an unusual encounter between the “wise virgins” and the “foolish virgins” in which the foolish virgins recognize, not only that they are running out of oil (the apparent presence of the Holy Spirit); but that the wise virgins obviously have an abundant manifestation of the Holy Spirit.
5 points warning the “Church” that they must have enough oil to be ready to meet their Bridegroom, Jesus, but as the parable in Mat 25 warns us, unfortunately there will be foolish virgins that will not have enough oil. The Lord has put it on the harts of many Christians to warn the “Church” , the question is – Will they listen?
